Traces of the Central University of Venezuela

This route is a walk through the Central University of Venezuela to renew the experience of moving through this urban space. It is a route that approaches the UCV from its representations in Venezuelan contemporary literature and from the reflections generated by the architectural space itself.

This is a route that extends the experience and interpretation of the university campus through literature, architecture, urban history, social reality and myth—“spaces that seem exhausted, spaces we had even forgotten, in its evident and authentic wealth and depth,” as the writer Roberto Martinez Bachrich says.

A journey in which a dialogue takes place, between the images of literary fiction and the maps that emerge of the daily traffic through this landmark of modern Venezuelan architecture.

The first time this walk took place was on November 2012 and made in the company of writer Rodrigo Blanco and the arquitect Hernan Zamora, both professors of this university.
